So it is another year of fishing and I was out on the ocean the other day I turned my unit on and after it loaded I noticed that it was missing the fishing chart. I tryed to still use it but the picture it was sending/showing was all blurry. I ended up turning it on and off a fewtimes and finally it seemed to work like it used to. About an hour later I was used the arrows to see where I wanted to go and it froze on me. Again, after turning it on and off a few times it went back to the way it "should" be working. I updated it and still it seems to give some attitude. Could it be the maps card? I use my boat all year long and it just started to do this. Can I transfer the Maps sd to a new sd card? Any ideas will be great.

If you are using buecharts you will not be able to transfer the maps to another card. It could be the card or the card lot in the unit. I would make sure that the card is secure in the adapter. If you have another SD adapter I would try that. Is there high vibration in the boat? How are the power connections? do you have clean power. sometimes alternators when they go cause problems with the power of the unit

It is a riverboat but I use it on the ocean alot. I don't notice any excessive vibration in the boat. The power is hooked up good and alternator is good. it sucks because the unit is great but now starting to have issues with it.

Our best recommendation would be to contact Garmin for further assistance.
