Is there TOPO map software available for this unit now? Or any other detailed map software?

Sorry but Lowrance has no Topo maps for this unit at this time. The unit is compatible with Navionics maps for boating. The Garmin units like the GPSMap 521 and GPSMap 421 do have Topo support.

In the specs it says the GPSMap 521 and 421 do not have TOPO support.

The addition of Topo compatibility to Garmin's chartplotter models is relatively new, and we may not have updated our spec list just yet. We will address this immediately.
