Good day,

I fish in the sea and in the specifications it is wrote 250 feet DI and 600 feets.
What is the working dept that give a good clear resolution image ?
At 600 feet do you see the buttom as in the picture ?
Did anyone tried the 597 ci HD in the salt water ?

Thank you in advance.

At 600 ft you will not get Down Imaging so the image will look like traditional fishfinders.

You may want a unit that can do a little deeper for sea fishing. The following unit can do up to 5000 ft depth.

DI and structure scan can be added to the Lowrance unit with a LSS-2 module and transducer if you want the higher resolution soundings.

Thank you Jordan I'll look at that one but for some reasons it's not a brand that was tempting for me.
But I'll definitely look at the possibilities !
