Do you ship to Australia? Does the Transom mount show speed as well as temp? Do I need anything else to complete the fit and go from this package?
Can you supply the premium card with Western Australia charts?

We can ship to australia but it would be recommended that you investigate a local dealer because the unit sold in North America have geolocks.

*Restricted Areas of Operation:
HDS Units designed for sale in the America's region have restricted functionality outside of the area defined by 30 degrees west longitude to 180 degrees longitude. America's units operating outside of this region are restricted to English language selection only and will not display metric based units. Inside the America's region, these units have full feature set functionality.

If the restrictions are OK with you then we can ship to Australia. Please feel free to call or email the sales department to place an order. They will be able to verify the availability of the charts in your area.

Australian price for a HDS8 with Lss is more than $3300, hence the enquiry to USA. We speak english so it appears that the only restriction is that it will not use metric measurement. Is there any modification available to turn on the metric measurement?

You will need an international model that costs a little more to get metric outside of your area

No, unfortunately we cannot supply the international model. Lowrance manufactures WorldWide HDS models that have no feature set restrictions and meet all local and regional requirements for operation. Worldwide HDS models are available from dealers and distributors based outside the America's region only.
