Do you know how I can find out what Canadian lakes are on this unit?Seems every lake I've been on so far isn't on the chart's,especially when I start to zoom in or am already on the lake.It disappears and becomes land!I have seen all the detail of the U.S. chart's with highway's and lake contour's but nothing for the Canadian side like that.

There are no maps for Canada on the Lowrance Elite-5 Fishfinder and GPS Chartplotter pn 104-001. You will need to buy Navionics Hotmaps for Canada.

In the GOLD package there are some Canadian maps. For complete inland lake coverage you will need the Hotmaps card. There are only a fraction of the lakes available on the GOLD card included with some chartplotters. For coastal coverage that is a different case. The coastal coverage for Canada is complete
