Are the built in maps of the 441s the same as the Bluechart G2?

Yes they are the same coastal Bluechart G2 maps you can buy on SD card.

That rebate ended a while back. There may be another rebate if they come out with a new marine product. We don't know of anything new coming in regards to Marine devices

to clarify are the pre loaded441S charts BlueChart g2 HXUS039R ? I'm looking for Cdn west coast coverage

The Garmin GPSMAP 441s Sounder is preloaded with the BlueChart g2 HXUS039R and will cover the west coast of Canada.
