Hello Neil,
The file that transfers to the SD card is a *.adm. Unfortunately I could not find any converters or software at this moment that supports the file. I tried Map source and Base Camp to read the file so I can export it with no luck.
I contacted Garmin and they were able to bring it into Garmin Mapsourse. I tried with no luck. I will keep looking for a solution to get the file converted into a format supported by google earth and other programs. If you have mapsource you may want to try opening the file yourself to see if you have any luck.

Cheers for now

Neil,
There is a software called GPS Utility that say it supports the Garmin userdata.adm file. Maybe give it a try to see if it works for you.

For support on their software please use their user forum. If I find anything easier to use I will pass it on to you.
** Link to the page that states they support .ADM files **

Cheers
