Garmin 421s will not zoom clearly?

I just installed my new Garmin 421s. Charplotter working great. GPS able to locate that I am in this part of FL and I can see the west coast of FL clearly but when I zoom it just becomes a fuzzy gray screen.

Anyone??

Hello 5208gridfreak,

Do you have mapping for your unit. The GPSMap 421s comes preloaded with just a low resolution satellite map. all detailed mapping for your area must be purchased separately.
