Does this version have charts for the Great Lakes? I assume this is part of the marine cartography, and not the "inland lakes".

Hello Rosty,
The GPSMAP 441s is preloaded with US Coastal charts, not the inland coverage. So unfortunately this unit will not have the Great Lakes data preloaded.

I too sail the great lakes. I was told the 441s would have the great lakes included. am looking to getting this same unit with the fish finder sonar transom mount. What map would be needed? I would like to be able to cover lake Erie western end usa and canada and detroit riverusa and canada and the lake st clair american and canadian side and the st. clair river amererican and canadaian also all of lake Huron american and canadian. I am in Florida untill the 4 jan and would be interested in getting this delivered to me here.
