Does the Garmin 520 accept the Bluechart america's nautical maps. I currently have the cd and have them loaded on my mapsource software and my garmin legend CS handheld gps? I currently use my legend gps onboard my sailboat but wish to increase in size but require a chartplotter that will accept my current charts.

The Garmin 520 is compatible with Bluecharts G2 Vision charts. If you own Garmin Bluechart Americas it is locked to your Garmin Legend GPS. You can still buy additional unlock codes but the Garmin Bluecharts program is unfortunately discontinued. This means its not supported in newer units. I hope this was some help. Have fun boating!
