Can I get a flush mount from gps city. I would like a DSI with trolling motor ducer and flush mount kit.

The flush mount kit for the DSI is available from LEI. It is linked to the Lowrance website.

The Flush mount kit will be available through GPS City shortly. Please watch the accessory pages of compatible units for its addition. You can also search our site using the products part number.

Is there a transducer available for this unit that can be mounted in bottom of boat to shoot thru the hull? If not, I assume for a fiberglass boat I would need to drill to mount the transducer mount and also for the cable?

Hello Mark,

You can use the transducer in box to shoot thru hull but it is not recommended for a few reasons. One is if it is improperly installed you will get bad readings. I have a fiberglass boat and I use a suction cup mount to the transom. If you have that ability you can save some install time. doing a permanent install of this transducer is not hard either.

Could I mount the transducer inside my Jack Plate on my Skeeter Boat to keep it from being torn off.

Hello Larry,

If I understand correctly the jack plate is a addon on some boats to allow you to raise and lower a trolling motor. You could mount to the jack plate. I don't know about inside the jack plate. The best thing to do is before permanently mounting the transducer to check its operation when mounted to the jack plate. If it works as well as the transom you are laughing and OK to go. If not you can always try another location.
