i am interested in this model but noticed the dsi imaging depth is only 200 ft. i was wondering if it only reads to 200 ft or is it just 200ft in the dsi imaging. does it read to the 1000 ft like the non dsi model if deeper than 200ft? thanks

Hello Mike,

Sorry for the delay responding to your question. I wanted to see if I could find a better manual that would explain the depth sounding better in the DSI models. After talking to a Lowrance rep on the phone I guess there is no detailed manual for those devices. Anyhow I also asked if the DSI models can do deeper water and the answer was no. You will be limited to 200ft sounding depth in the DSI models. Other lowrance models will do deeper but without the resolution you get from a DSI model.
