LOOKING FOR A GRAPH PLOTTER I CAN USE FOR CROSS COUNTRY TRAVELING, OR DO I NEED A PLUG-IN'S AS I USED IN MY OLD EAGLE INTELLIMAP 320 PLOTTER? WOULD YOU KNOW IF THOSE OLD PLUG-INS FOR THE 320 WOULD FIT IN THE HDS-5 BAJA? I HAD PLANNED TO BUY ANOTHER EAGLE 320 WITH COLOR SCREEN BUT WAS TOLD, NOT MADE AT THIS TIME. AT THIS TIME I'M NOT PLANNING ON USING HDS-5 ON THE WATER. IN MY 80s and don't want to wait too much longer,if you know what i mean.
THANKYOU RUSS

Hello Russ,

We were not able to find enough information on your unit to see if the cables are compatible. The HDS-5 will come with its own cables for wiring up so you will be fine if the connectors dont match up.

However for your use I would not recommend either unit for land use if you are navigating paved roads. You should investigate a vehicle navigation unit like the nuvi 1490LMT. Big screen and turn by turn voice directions. They are also Garmin Topo compatible.

Cheers
