Garmin offers two varieties of mapping to cover inland lake information. While both the US Inland Lakes and US Inland Lakes Vision are compatible with many devices, there are factors that may lead you to purchase one map offering over the other. The model of your GPS, the coverage area and the features you are looking for in the mapping may influence your purchase.

US Inland Lakes: Available for purchase for all of the US on either a single microSD/SD card, DVD, or in downloadable format for one low price. Detailed lake coverage is provided for the entire continental United States. Recommended for any marine device and specifically handheld devices that do not support Vision technology.

US Inland Lakes Vision: Available for purchase for individual US regions in downloadable or microSD/SD format. Detailed lake coverage is provided for regions of the US along with Vision technology for compatible devices. Vision technology includes high-resolution satellite imagery and 3-D surroundings, both above and below the waterline. This map also offers mariner's-eye and fish-eye perspectives on the most popular lakes and it is recommended for Vision compatible marine devices1.

No the Oregon series does not support vision. None of the handhelds will. Just the chart plotters
