I have a Nuvi 255W by Garmin.
Will this Garmin U.S. Inland Lakes, South Central SD card work with my unit? If so will it navigate me on the lake like it does in the car?
My wife just inherited a lake house and we have never been. So we are looking for software that will work on lake water through our already purchased unit.

Hello Ed,

According to Garmins website the maps are not fully compatible with the Nuvi series GPS. The maps will read but not all features will be available. The inland lake cards are made for handhelds and chartplotters.
