Sorry but no one at this time has coverage of Manitoba outside Lake of the Woods. Your best bet is with a Garmin GPS and Garmin topo maps for your area. The Garmin maps and GPS will give you shore outlines

Actually Navionics 2 XG was updated last year to have Lake Winnipeg and the river systems. I know Cabela's is selling this chip and have seen the updated posted on various websites. Are you saying then that the chip on Gps City is not the most current chip? Can it be updated?

I will put the chip in a unit and give it a try to see if those areas are covered. I was using the Navionics website for coverage information and they do not have those areas of Manitoba listed yet. Yes the Navionics chip can be updated.
