Before I purchase this product I would like to know when it was produced and/or updated for hawaiian waters. I would also like to know if it is compatable with the Garmin 546 and 400.

THe Garmin vision cards are compatible with the GPSMap 546. The Garmin 400 is not a correct product name. I assume you mean the GPSMap 421S or similar and the vision cards will work with that also. The production number we have is the Garmin one. They released the latest version of that map a month ago. The version numbers Garmin provides is 2012.5 (v14)
