I have purchased a Garmin handheld GPSMAP 60CX at Christmas and have only used it a few times as fishing season here really hasn't sterted yet. I have always used hard copy hydographic charts for my tournaments and fishing adventures but thought I would get with the program and load my new GPS unit with detailed maps of the Kawartha Lakes(Sturgeon/Pigeon etc.)
I was about to purchase the Canada Inland Lakes Ontario SD card but now see that it only has shoreline info on the lakes I want. What would be the best product to get to show depth/shoal/rocks etc. for these 5 or 6 lakes? Thanks in advance, Randy

Hello Randy,

The Garmin units are only compatible with Garmin cards. I just checked the Bluechart G2 for Canada and it covers the Kawartha lake region well and is compatible with the Garmin 60CSX. You will want to get Homeport also so you can preplan on your Windows PC.
