The RAM-137B is the recommended plate for this unit. Please see this link:

This will work with the round plate and the short arm as well. Please see these two links:

Yes, you will need to purchase all three products I have referenced, if you want to have the base, arm, and plate that mounts to the unit.

Will the "RAM-111U-B" function as well? as it seems to be a complete unit

No, the RAM-111U-B will NOT work with this Humminbird unit as the plate is too small. You need the RAM-137BU plate.
