I have a Garmin 182C GPS with the GSD 20 sounder. I have not used it in over 3 years. It worked great the last time I used it. Now I have tried to test it on land before installing it in a boat I just purchased. The GPS powers on and find satellites and seems to work fine. I get a message that states "No Sounder" on the screen. The LED does not light up at all on the sounder. Any suggestion on how I can get this working?

It sounds like a power issue. Do you have an inline fuse? and is it ok? Is your wiring correct? For troubleshooting assistance it is best to phone the tech support line at 1-800-800-1020. That way questions can be asked to better trouble shoot your problem
