I have a Std Hor GX2150 that I need to connect the AIS to my Ray Marine Classic C. Will this cable plug into the five pin nmea 1n/out port on the back of my Classic C and how loing is it?

This cable will most likely not work for your needs. It is compatible with the Lowrance Elite and Mark series that does not support AIS. You will want to contact the manufacturer of your equipment for the proper setup
