Is this compatible with Nuvi 3590LMT?, Harry D., Pittsburgh, PA
Is the DaneElec 32GB microSD compatible with the new Garmin Nuvi 3590LMT? Will the Nuvi recognize the entire capacity? I am also ordering (in the same order) Garmin TOPO US 24K Northeast DVD map set. I understand that this map set is compatible with the Nuvi 3590LMT. Is that correct? If I also order this memory card, can portions of that Topo map set be installed on the memory card rather than the internal memory in the Nuvi 3590? Lastly, are the Topo maps locked requiring unlocking? If not, are they also compatible with GPSMAP276C? What is largest memory card the GPSMAP276C will recognize full capacity of?

The 3590LMT is not available yet so we are unable to answer your question about compatibility with a 32Gb at this time. Topo is partially compatible with a nuvi. You will be able to see contour lines, rivers, lakes and other data on the screen but you will not be able to search for all outdoor points. A nuvi should never be used for hiking. It is best to get a more reliable handheld for outdoor activities. the Topo maps are not locked. The max Garmin card for a GPSMap 276C is 512MB.
