Is XGPS150 compatible with ipad 2 3G if using Navionics HD It was not listed discoverable in my blue tooth

Here is a video on how to connect you ipad to the device. Once connected the Navionics software will be able to use the GPS position information.

yes i understand but the ipad 2 with 3G has a gps reciever built in. Does the XGPS150A override the internal gps in the ipad 2 with built in gps and if it does what are the benifits of using the XGPS150A over the use of the internal GPS in the Ipad 2 with 3G.

Yes it should. You could put the XGPS where is will get better GPS reception
