If weather conditions are positive and satellite reception is adequate, what kind of accuracy can I expect when trying to return to the exact same spot in a field, when used in an agricultural applicatiuon, plus or minus how may inches? or feet?

Recreational GPS will be accurate to about 15 Meters without WAAS. If you have WAAS on you can get down to 3 meters 95% of the time.
