My question is I installed Navfree Canada for my I pad 2, but the app does not seem to see the GPS receiver? Do you know if this app was made to work with GPS receiver's mainly the XGPS150A?

thanks

The XGPS150A works with most apps on the iPad, unfortunately we have not been able to test this app so we cannot say if it works.

Please make sure location services is enabled on your device for this app, so it can look for the GPS receiver.

If using iOS 6, please go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services > and make sure "Navfree Canada" is turned "On".

If using iOS 5, please go to Settings > Location Services > and make sure "Navfree Canada" is turned "On".

I checked the manufacturers support site and this is what they wrote.

"Settings -> Location Services must be enabled and Navmii must be permitted to use them before the app can access the GPS position. "

"The GPS switch within the Navmii app is located: Navmii -> Menu -> Advanced -> Preferences -> GPS "
