I have installed a Garmin Glo on a Toshiba AT 100 tablet. I downloaded Bluetooth GPS software and installed it. I get the the Main screen that gives me Date/Time Altitude, Lat/Lon etc. The screen beside showing STATUS shows there are 20 in view and 12 in use and the accuracy is 1.5m
My problem is I can't get the map to open. When I go view the NMEA it shows the device is make quick and numerous downloads.
Why can't I see the map?

You will most likely need to contact the software maker for assistance with their software.

In the meantime make sure you have an internet connection because the maps will be polled from the internet in real time. At this time that is all I can think of as the issue.

The software I used was the one I viewed on your site. I was on line when I was trying to view the map. The video shows the same screens as I have operating but not the map.

Can you browse Google maps normally on your device using a Google earth or maps application? The software uses Google mapping and may be having a problem downloading the maps. Google maps is a default program on most Android devices.

I checked my xoom and the BT software and I could not see any settings that can be changed that would effect the mapping.

Have you tried another software?

I used the software as an example. You will most likely need a better software for your future use. There are lots of free applications and paid ones. You just need to make sure before purchasing the mapping software that it supports the use of an external Bluetooth GPS.

Not to use the goo. You may need the internet to download maps depending on the software you choose
