I tried to pair the Germin GLO which I received today with my table running Android 4.1. I followed the instruction on P.3 of the instructions. The blue LED light changed from slow to rapid flashing, but never solid. However, the tablet says, it is paired, and the Garmin GLO is listed in the list of the paired devices. I then ran Bluetooth GPS. The Garmin GLO #7ee73 was shown in the paired GPS. I then clicked "connect", a message appeared in the "Speed" window saying "Connection failed - Connection refused."

When I paired other bluetooth devices, I usually need to enter a pairing code, but not with this Garmin GLO. I would appreciate a little help from you.

There is no pairing code for the GLO. It will just connect. The error you are getting is odd. When using the BT software to verify the GLO working I ran into no issues. I suggest calling in for technical support. The number to call is Garmin 1-800-800-1020.

In the mean time I would try telling the droid to forget the connection and then try it again to see if that helps. Also make sure you android has the latest operating system

Hello Jordan, I talked to Garmin, and have the problem solved. Perhaps, I would put it in this forum just in case for others. On the Android devices, "Mock GPS provider" has to be enabled. which may be found in Settings/Developer Options/ then check Allow mock locations. On my Samsung Galaxy S II, it's found Settings/Applications/Development/.
