The 220 works well, have been using the unit with battery power, after running the power cable for bikes it did not work, a little testing determined no fuse in the weatherproof fuse holder. What current rating and type is the fuse.

The current rating is written on the fuse. It should read one amp. You can take the fuse to an automotive shop and they will grab you the right type and rating. Before putting a new fuse in make sure you have no shorts in the cable that will cause it to blow again. A one amp fuse is needed.

The cable comes with the fuse. If you take the cable to your local automotive shop they can sell you a fuse that fits the cable. Its a common fuse that you may have in your car or truck. It is one amp like previously mentioned.

I have been to several auto parts supply stores. NONE OF THEM carry the ONE amp mini blade fuse. Garmin does not stock it.
Any body know where they can be found?

If you can not get the blade fuse in your area I would try replacing it with a glass fuse holder and glass fuse of the same size. I suggest trying radio shack or an online source.
