Original question asked on May 30, 2012, 8:41am
1. If I have the 220 plugged in to the 12v charging cable (while in vehicle), can the 220 operate as a GPS?
2. Can I (while 220 is plugged into computer USB) establish (click on Base Camp maps) ROUTE points of travel? I.e, build a ROUTE from home to 123 easy street, anytown...then to 456 different street, different town....then to 789 campsite (waypoint) such 'n such lake, in different state? If possible, can this ROUTE be saved, and can I then build another ROUTE with different points of destinations, all linked CONCECTUTIVELY for ROUTE #2? If these ROUTES are save-able, and can be brought "up" into the 220, how many of these ROUTES are possible?
Sorry for long questions.
Thanks,
Jerry

When used in the car it will work the same as on the bike. It will give you turn by turn navigation. The zumo 220 can accept 10 routes with multiple via points in it.
