How many routes does the 660 store? Your site states 10 in the specs, but the specs on Garmin's site state 20. I'm just trying to determine which is the correct answer.

Hello Neil,

The unit has the capability to hold 20 routes. Garmin does updates from time to time, that increase its capabilities and changes some specs. We will adjust our site to show the correct specification. Thank you for pointing that out.

Before I purchase a 660 I want to know that I can add multiple waypoints to an existing route and is there a limit to the number of additions I can add?

Hello Gary S,

Custom routes can be edited to add numerous via points to it. I cannot say what the maximum number is but I have added up to 50 via points with no problems.
