Do you know if the XM will broadcast over bluetooth or is it still only "line out"

Thanks.

Hello Graham,

Because this product is not released yet I cant guarantee my answer at this time. I will have to say yes you will be able to listen to XM Radio via bluetooth because the unit uses the advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP). The older Garmin zumo 500 did not have this feature.

Cheers

Greetings, can you tell me why I am able to comunicate BT with my Zumo 550/BMW com set along with phone and even the SD supplied music but not my XM radio?! Works fine with/via wired ear buds once BT is shut down though.

Hello Mike,

The Zumo 550 was not designed to output XM via bluetooth. I know the zumo 550 does not have A2DP bluetooth protocol which is used for stereo bluetooth transmissions.

Cheers
