Is there an option out there to fix the issue of "loss of sounds and voice commands", other than paying Raytech $122.00 for a refurbished replacement?
I have contacted Garmin and done the software updates suggested and required without success.
The unit might start out and have the sounds and voice commands and then after a turn or two the voice commands fizzle out and cease.

All units than need repair go to Raytech. If you have an extended warranty through GPS City feel free to call us.

Other than resets and firmware updates there is nothing more we can do.
