Although I already have the Nuvi 1450 on my bike, it is not waterproof and it cuts out frequently due to the fragile cable connector on the unit. So I plan to replace it with a unit designed for a motorcycle. Why would I choose either the Zumo 350 or 660? Which unit has the more durable cable connector?

Both units will have durable connectors on the bike. The zumo 350 in my opinion is not as powerful as the zumo 660/665 even though it is newer. I highly suggest the zumo 6XX series.

Jordan, when you say the 350 is not as powerful as the 660/665,
what are you refering to as I was thinking of buying the 350?

Powerful may of been the wrong word. The zumo 66X has more features.

The zumo 350 is a lower end unit in Comparison to the zumo 66X in my mind. The zumo 350 lacks features that the zumo 66X has. Such as music, 3D buildings, user replaceable battery, audible books, picture viewer, Garmin lock, photo navigation, ... I did some side by side tests and found the older zumo 66X is easier to read in the sunlight.

I understand. The reason I looked at the 350 was I didnt want all the extras, music, 3D building etc. Just a good GPS for my
motorcycle. I currently have a Street Pilot 3 delux. It just doesnt want to quit. I have had it for 10 years and many miles.

Thanks Jordan. Surprising just how much superior the 660 is, despite the lower cost and the fact that the 350 is newer. Normally you would expect the newer unit to be the superior unit.....I guess it is the 660 for me!

So glad I found this. For an extra $50 or so I will be getting the 660.
