I have a Cardo Scala G4 power set. When communicating bike to bike the set works fine. BUT I can not hear(sound is very low) directions at anytime from the GPS (Zumo 660). Anyone have any suggestions? I do have the Zumo set for bluetooth connection

Hello Howard,

What happens when you pair the scala with the zumo? Does it pair and connect successfully? Have you checked the volume settings to make sure voice directions are not muted? If you can not get it to work then try calling for assistance while you have the two devices in hand. 1-800-800-1020

Cheers
Jordan

Howard/Jordan/Anyone...is there a trick to get the G4 to pair with the 660? I can't seem to get mine to join up. Thanks

Pairing the G4 headset is done by following the instructions in the manual and by adding the G4 as an audio Bluetooth device in the Zumo's settings.

PAIRING THE G4 TO A GPS DEVICE:
1. Turn on your GPS.
2. With the G4 turned ON, press and hold the Volume Up Button for
at least six seconds until the Red and Blue Lights begin flashing
simultaneously.
3. Search for Bluetooth headsets on your GPS device by following the device’s instructions. Consult your GPS device’s User Manual for more information.
4. After a few seconds the GPS will list “scala rider G4” as a
discovered device. Select it and follow your GPS’s instructions to accept the pairing.
5. If your GPS device prompts for a PIN or Passkey enter 0000 (four zeros). 6. Your GPS device will confirm that pairing has succeeded. The headset will begin flashing slowly in Blue.

Ahhhh...the trick is add it as an Audio Device. It paired and now works as advertised, Tom. I really appreciate!
