Hi Tim,
All you really need is an additional base, as the RAM pieces provided are interchangeable. You may choose from u-bolt (RAM-B-231), clutch/brake (RAM-B-309) or reservoir (RAM-B-346) bases.
Thanks, and good luck!

Will I not also need some kind of wiring harness as well as the base?

Hello Tim,

That depends on what you want to transfer from bike to bike. If you will not be transferring the cradle you can purchase another. Here is a link to the accessory page so you can find more accessories. The cable/cradle are can be found on the link below.

Hello Dave,

If you do not want to transfer the XM antenna from bike to bike then yes you will need another antenna. If you transfer between bikes then no.

Keep in mind that the antenna is not just an antenna, it's a self-contained XM radio unit, so a) it's expensive, and b) it will require a separate subscription to work, without having to contact Sirius/XM, every time you want to switch bikes/antennas.
