I have a GPSMap 60CSx and love all the functionality. I read you can only load one track into the Zumo 660. If so, is it limited to 500 points as in the GPSMap 60? And can 'routes' be set up to not 'recalculate' or alter there routing from the original route as laid out in MapSource?

Hi LC,

Zumo and Nuvi units are not setup to read tracks like a handheld unit will. You can't really load a track to the unit, the unit will make one single tracklog of where you have gone. Loading a tracklog to the unit will not allow you to view it, as these units are not meant for this type of navigation.

The unit has I believe 10,000 track log points for the single track, but you cannot change how often a point is made, the unit automatically does it.

You can turn off re-calculating, and auto-routing. If you have a premade route on the computer, and it does not follow any roads that you have on the unit make sure you turn off autorouting on the unit and allow it to route "off-road" or else your route will not read correctly.

It is possible to convert a track you have on your computer into a route and then load it to the GPS, as this will work, but loading the track just to the GPS will not work as you need it to. Simply make a route from the track, load it to the GPS using off-road/direct routing and this may work for you.

I hope this is the information you're looking for, if we can help with anything else please let me know. Thank you!
