Friction mount compatability with zumo 550 car mount?

I need a car mount for my zumo 550 and would order the dash mount, power cord and the friction mount base if I knew that the friction mount base will stick to a convex dash surface and if the car mount for the zumo with it's suction cup configuration works with the base... pls advise

Hello Fred,

I have had no issues on a curved surface using the Garmin suction cup mount and the Non Skid pad. However every vehicle is different so if it does not work on the dash you can also mount it to the windshield.
