Can you use AMPS Rugged Mount on moutain bikes? I guess you can rip of the wires, but is it OK to mount on the handlebar?

You will need to buy a handlebar mount like the RAM-B-149 to make it work.

Thank you. Are there any other (better!?) alternatives to mount the Montana 600 to a mtb? I also have a garmin Edge 800, thats smooth to attach. But i need a moore solid device.

The RAM-B-149 will be the best. There are other RAM mount options available for you. Please feel to browse our site for other options.
