The TomTom GO930 power connection is on the bottom of the unit. The OEM mount is very short.

Is there enough room for the cable to connect to the GPS?

If not, can the friction mount be notched easily to make room for the cable?

You should have no problem fitting in the cable, as the clearance will be the same as it would be on your dashboard, windshield, or any surface.
