Air vent mount not easily removable?

It looks like once the air vent mount is stuck in, it is meant to not be taken out again routinely?
Also, the mount is not compatible with Garmin G-Ball? Thank you.

The mount should come off by squeezing the ends closest to the GPS. That will cause the mount of the attachment to open up and let go of the vent.

That is correct the mount is not compatible with Garmin G-ball. It is meant to be used with the included universal holder.
