We have not had any customers mention issues with the cradle and moisture. If you have any feedback please let Garmin know also. Garmin has made no changes to the cradles. Cheers Jesse

Mine just crapped out aqain due to water intrusion .... the Zumo unit is water proof but the cradle sure as heck is not. I would expect something better from Garmin than having to fork out $$ for a new cradle every 2 yrs or so

They all crap out due to moisture. Just like GPS City Garmin says that they have never heard of this problem. 30 seconds on the internet and you can find hundreds of complaints about failures due to lack of waterproofing. Lousy customer support from both of them- don't stand behind the product.

The cradle failing because of moisture was not a common issue brought to our attention by customers. We can replace any cradle that gets damaged within a reasonable amount of time and is a manufacturer defect. If your cradle fails within warranty please feel free to contact us by phone for assistance.

Agreed. Terrible customer support from GPS City. Just point the finger at someone else. Wven when "plausible deniability" has been debunked! Better yet...try *calling* GPS City, and asking to speak to a supervisor. It won't happen...EVER!!

If the product is under our warranty (regular or extended) it will be replaced by us. Garmin will also support you. However if the product fails outside of warranty and there is no extended warranty purchased you will need to purchase a replacement cradle. At any time feel free to contact us via phone.
