I am planning to replace a panel mounted 182C with a 536 since I can't get maps for the 182C. Dimensions of the 182C are slightly wider than the 536 (182C: 6.3"W x 6.2"H x 2.6"D vs. 536: 5.9"W x 6.4"H x 2.9"D). So the new unit will be 0.4" narrower than the old one. I am hoping that the flanges on the flush mount kit will cover the wider hole from the old unit. Can you please check the template for the flush mounting kit to see how much narrower the hole is, and the flanges to see if they will cover the old hole? I can send you a picture of the old unit if that would help. Thanks!

Here is a link to the flush mount template.

You will be able to print it off to check it with your boat.

Here is a link to the install manual for the flush mount kit which is different than the flush mount template.
