The video about the Garmin GPSMAP 60 Series bike mount shows how to install a clamp and clip the GPS onto a handlebar, right?! But the one thing the video doesn't show (and the most important thing) is how to unclip the GPS from the handlebar clamp. I'll tell you right now, it is a pain in the butt to unclip it (without wanting to break everything after a few attempts... LOL!!)

You pretty much have to use a screwdriver to pry the clip open so you can slide everything off of the handlebar clamp. Seems like both pieces are so well molded, that you need to clip and unclip over 50 times to make it easy enough to unclip the GPS from the bar without the use of tools and the risk of hurting yourself in the process.

That was my 2 cents.

P.S. But I still like the Garmin handlebar mount better than the bulky RAM mount system, which adds over a pound of hardware to your bicycle handlebar and needless to say looks out of place on a bicycle.

You are correct the holder is a pain to get off the handle bar clamp. It wont come off in Vibration that is for sure. Have a good one.

Cheers
Jordan
