How are the cables layed out on the Zumo 665 mount?, Jorge, Florida
Hard to tell from the pictures where the audio, mic, and usb jacks are on the cable -are they on the mount (handlebar) side or on the opposite side. I don't want a bunch of jacks hanging from the cradle. I don't need microphone, audio jacks is there a power only option? Alternatevly, can you cut off the audio/microphone pigtails?

Hello Jorge, The microphone (2.5mm) and headphone (3.5mm) jacks are on the cable. Do not cut them off instead tie wrap them to the rest of the cable out of the way. there is no power only option. Cheers

Do you know if Garmin is planning on coming out with power only option in the near future? the cable option is kind of obsolete. Pretty much everything is bluetooth these days. Thanks.

We would not know that information until Garmin lets everyone know. I don't think they will be coming out with a different cable for that unit.

There are a couple of folks who have done conversions on their units, eliminating the extra cables. If you're sure you will never want/need the additional cables, then check the thread at preview.tinyurl.com/asa7h4f to see how it is done. There is also a commercial conversion kit w/quick disconnect. Google "Conversion Kit ZUMO 660 Power Cable with Quick Disconnect" and you'll find it.
