Does this allow unit to be plugged into house power outlet to power GPSMAP 421s?

Aug 16, 2012, 9:07am		 This cable will wire to your boats 12V power source. To power that unit in your house it is best to use a 12V car or motorcycle battery and the cable that came with the unit. You can also use a 12V AC power source if it has a high current output. I have used the Garmin ACDC converter with the 421S before. You will need to put a cigarette lighter end on the power cable to plug into the Garmin adapter. Here is a link to the Garmin ACDC. /garmin-ac-dc-to-vehicle-adapter.html
