Original question asked on Sep 23, 2011, 12:54pm
Is it possible to attach the Holux GR 213 to a mariphone with PS2(male)input
and nmea protocol?
I think yes cause the Holux have a PS2(female)output and is also equiped with
nmea protocol. The problem I can't figure out:How to install the driver for the Holux GR 213 in the mariphone? The mariphone has not an operating system, isn't?
The weard thing:the mariphone has a default input for a ALAN GPS200.
(I'am not sure about the spelling mariphone, but it is a marine telephone)

You will most likely need the ALAN GPS 200 or you will need to rewire the GR-213 to make it work. Serial devices do not require drivers. The GR-213 is discontinued so we will not be able to provide you one. Please note even though these devices have the same connector does not mean they will work together.
