Could you tell me the details for wiring the GPS 16HVS to mercury's smart craft system and can they be directly hooked together or does thei need to be some kind of interface system?

Hello Ben,

I can give you a link to the documentation for the 16hvs which will have the general wiring diagrams . It is best to take your boat to your mercury dealer for wiring.
