The 17x HVS is a remote sensor and what you need is a remote antenna. After doing some research online it looks like the Garmin GA25BNC is what you need. Here is a link

Do you have a GSD module?
Do you want to be able to do fish finding or just depth sensing, temp and speed?
Do you need speed through the water or just speed over ground?
Thru hull transducers generally do not have speed through the water. There are some available but you will need a GSD 24 module also because they are not NMEA 2000 based.
