Does the Etrex 30 support ANT+ sensors (e.g., Garmin heart rate monitors, speed/cadence sensors, etc.)? If it does, will I be able to customize the display to show sensor data such as speed and heart rate? Also, will I be able to set it to record speed & distance from the speed/sensor (as opposed to GPS) for use with my indoor trainer? I'm looking for a decent GPS unit for cycling (both touring and training), and the Etrex 30 seems like it might be just the ticket (the Edge series wouldn't work for me due to the incompatibility with AA batteries). Thanks.

The Etrex 30 will be compatible with ANT+ Cadence and Heart Rate sensor. You can customize the screens to show any device data you want including Cadence and Heart Rate.

When paired with a Cadence sensor it will not measure distance when doing indoor training. To get that info you need a footpod but the footpod is not compatible with the Etrex 30 at this time. The footpod will be compatible with the Edge for indoor training.
