I have purchased a number of maps on micro sd cards and would like to put them all on one 16gb card. Is this possible ?? I have tried to copy them and my Montana does not recognize the maps. I have searched the internet and there seems to be a lot of confusion and maybe I am having a problem because I am using a mac for the transfer. Any help or link that may help me would be appreciated. Thank You

Garmin units will only recognize up to a 4GB map set. Unfortunately loading more than the 4GB on to a larger will not allow you to view more maps. We'd recommend multiple cards, perhaps divided by map style or area.

The maps purchased on micro sd cards are locked to the sd cards and can not be copied to another card.
The maps purchased on DVD can be combined and loaded using the mapinstall program but are limited to being the 4GB size and registered only to 1 Garmin device.
